Community and stakeholder consultation refers to the exchange of information related to a project, whereby those proposing the project, for example the government or an NGO, and those being affected by it (i.e., the target population) can voice their proposals, opinions and concerns. It has the objective of incorporating different perspectives into the planning and implementation of that project.
